{ ONE MOUNTAIN FOUNDATION MISSION }

A Community Meeting will take place at Victor Cullen Academy in Sabillasville on Monday, June 8, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM.  

The purpose of the meeting will be to answer questions about the recent escape of 14 youth on 5/27/09.  Details about the escape appear below.  The meeting will be chaired by Mr. Donald DeVore, Secretary of Juvenile Services for the State of Maryland, and his staff.  

All are welcome to attend -- please feel free to share this message with anyone who may be interested.  HOWEVER, for security purposes, if you plan to come, you will need to provide your name, phone and/or email address by close of business on June 4 to Ms. Ghia Ridley Pearson, Acting Senior Manager for the Division of Support Services, 443-801-0806, RidleyG@djs.state.md.us, copied.  If a large number of people want to attend, the meeting may be moved to an alternate location.

OMF will strive to improve the quality of life for all citizens in the four counties, two state areas, encompassing the communities of Blue Ridge Summit, PA; Fountaindale, PA; Cascade, MD; and Sabillasville, MD. The OMF will educate and inform our local government entities of specific needs that will lead to economic prosperity, and improve the overall quality of life for area residents.
