ONE MOUNTAIN FOUNDATION MEMBERSHIP

A Letter from the Board of Directors:
During the past year, OMF was successful in arranging for the erection of a Pennsylvania and Maryland Civil War Trails Marker commemorating the Civil War Battle of Monterey Pass, conducting spring and fall dinner theaters in conjunction with the Blue Ridge Theater Guild, conducting “Thunder on the Mountain” historical seminar, and organizing and conducting the 2009 Mountaintop Heritage Days events. All these activities occurred in our local Mountaintop communities, allowing our community organizations to receive much deserved recognition and financially profit from the conduct of the events.
OMF’s goals and plans for the 2010 membership year are to develop a plan in coordination with the PenMar Development Corporation and Corporate Office Properties Trust for establishing a Museum of the Mountain at Fort Ritchie, conduct two dinner theaters in conjunction with the Blue Ridge Theater Guild, conduct fund-raisers for community organizations such as the "Help Hotline" (community food bank) and the Cascade Elementary School PTA, organize and conduct the 2010 Mountaintop Heritage Days events, and conduct living history presentation and historical interpretation programs.
Our annual membership year is between January 1st and December 31st.
The OMF Board hopes that you will either join our organization or renew your membership, and additionally participate on one or more of our committees. The Board hopes you will also consider an additional tax deductible gift and receive the recognition mentioned in the membership application. Your generosity greatly assists OMF in accomplishing the planned activities in the upcoming membership year, benefiting not only yourself as a donor, but the Mountaintop community.
